Mathematics Common Test (8 May)

Hello young ladies and gentlemen,

Tomorrow, we will take the Mathematics Paper. Hope y'all have been working hard and studying so far. This is the last stretch before Common Test ends, don't slack and be lazy. Here are a few things you will need to note for tomorrow's paper.

Things to Bring (Mathematics)
Minimum 2 pens, either Dark Blue or Black
Pencil/Mechanical Pencil
Sharpener/Lead
Eraser
Ruler
Identification Card
Calculators
Extra Calculators

General Things to Note
  • Ensure your pencil case is transparent or translucent, not opaque. Ensure it is colourless. 
  • Do NOT use highlighters, correction tapes, and correction liquids.
  • Ensure you have paid a visit to the toilet before entering the examination room.
  • You are required to call the General Office at +6565717200 to report your absence before 0715h (GMT+8)
  • Students will only be excused from sitting the test paper only with the presentation of a formal medical certificate or other reasons acceptable to SST.
  • Calculators must be affixed with the SST 2017 Sticker.
  • Please only report on days when you have examinations.
  • There are no lessons on examination days. 

Location and Timing (Mathematics)
Arrive at least 30 minutes before the examination starts

Location: Classroom
From 0850h to 1020h

Once the paper ends, you are free to go home! Revise on your Science, which will be your last paper; Remember, study hard and you will be rewarded. Sleep well, eat well. See you tomorrow :)

Note from the ruler of Mathematics, Mr Johari:
  • Most important to stay calm and focus.
  • Attempt the easiest questions first and/or the easy ones with most marks.
  • Check and recheck but keep watch of time.
  • You should be able to score well as you have been given sufficient practice.
  • Complacency and over confidence may lead to carelessness and unnecessary marks being deducted.
